About Coach Sherwood: A Pensacola, FL native, Coach Sherwood’s softball journey began as a collegiate player at Troy University. Her passion for the game led to an exceptional coaching career that includes serving as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at several prestigious NCAA Division I programs including Wisconsin, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and College of Charleston. Her expertise extends to the professional ranks, where she served as Head Coach of the Akron Racers professional softball team, and she later led the Portland State University program as Head Coach.
Currently serving as the pitching coach for PGF Champion Mojo Lewis team, Coach Sherwood is widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier pitching coaches. She continues to shape the next generation of softball talent through instructional lessons in both pitching and hitting.
